Tudor Rose Wedding Video Films in France
Travelling for 15 hours on a coach is not the usual way to begin an assignment as a wedding videographer but for Gail of Tudor Rose Wedding Video it proved the perfect opportunity to get to know the wedding guests. Kathryn and Martyn's wedding took place in the Charente region of South West France and Gail was on hand to shoot everything from the journey itself and the welcome barbecue to every moment of the wedding day and beyond including the 70's themed disco on the final evening.
Their venue - a beautiful old cognac distillery with guest accommodation in gites in the grounds and local area - was surrounded by vineyards and provided a stunning backdrop for the video and photos which Gail also supplied.
The small size of the professional digital video cameras Gail uses, along with their ability to take great quality photographs, showed their worth in the ceremony venue. With just three chairs either side of the aisle and no room behind the celebrant, Gail still managed to be inconspicuous while getting great close up footage and photos of the couple during the ceremony.
The bride was given away by her eldest son and the smallest bridesmaid was the groom's ten month old grand daughter who stole the show in her beautiful dress. Gail says, “Every wedding is different but this was unusual both in the venue abroad and because I wasn't able to meet with the bride and groom beforehand as they live in South Wales, so all arrangements for this booking were made by email, phone and letter. With a wedding celebration spread over four days like this one, it is lovely to get the opportunity to really get to know the bride and groom and their guests and they were kind enough to include me in everything - even the day trip to Cognac which was a real treat.”

I am Tania Claire and after spending over 15 years as a traditional makeup artist I decided to re-train as an Airbrush Makeup Artist in 2007 at Pinewood Film Studios. I use Dinair products which are waterbased, silicone free and hypo-allergenic, and I mix my foundation to match my Bride's skin tone exactly therefore all skin tones and colours can be matched perfectly. I also use Dinair blushers as they blend beautifully onto the skin giving the Bride a lovely natural blush to her cheeks.
For Brides who have skin problems like Rosacea, Vitiligo and Acne there is a paramedical range of foundations that I use from Dinair which are waterptroof and also silicone free. This range of foundations is also suitable for covering tattoos and bruises it is extremelyrub resistant and is long lasting even on oily skin lasting up to 24 hours. Both foundations ranges dry on contact and do not need to be powdered to set them.

Angharad Llywelyn recalls making cakes when she was her six year old daughter's age; since then she has developed her creative talents, from making cakes for friends weddings to setting up her own successful business. When you spray using an airbrush it atomises the product making the particles of make-up tiny. This is why airbrush make-up is used in HD TV and film. Ellen the harpist was magical.
Live music can complement every wedding, be it a civil or church marriage - it creates a degree of individuality on what is a very special romantic day, so thoughtfully chosen, expertly played music which is personal to you can enhance such a momentous occasion.
Ellen usually plays for a short period before the ceremony whilst guests are being seated, then for the arrival of the bride, the signing of the register and throughout the final procession of the bridal party and guests. Pushing play on a CD player for the arrival of the bride lacks the impact one would experience with the immediacy of live music and, in the case of the harp, a uniquely beautiful and romantic instrument, neither does it have the visual elegance.
Romantic harp music at the drinks reception can create a welcoming atmosphere for arriving guests but also provides a focal point for guests whilst the bride and groom are being photographed.
The harp, as well as being the most romantic and beautiful instrument, has a very intimate sound yet can also be heard over hundreds of guests. A mixture of musical styles played in the background can add a very special touch to the wedding breakfast.
